Overall Safety Plan - CAR 2023 1.0
This document details the boat circulation pattern and the Thunderstorm plan. It's going to be hot, and although not currently forecast, knowing what to do in a thunderstorm helps to expedite the procedures to get everyone off the water and safe.
The documents are also available from your entry secretary and can also be found in print form at race control.
Trailers and Participants arriving by car:
Please respect our neighbours by not parking on their narrow streets. Inconsiderate parking blocks access for Emergency vehicles. Please park only in the field.

Once you get closer to the regatta it will be signposted with signs in Cambridge ‘99 colours; Green, Yellow and Blue.
Trailer and car parking is available on site for free.
To access the site by public transport:
Travel to Cambridge North station and walk 20 mins to the site. Alternatively, travel to Cambridge main station and take the #3 bus to Keynes Rd (one or two stops after McDonalds), then walk 10 mins to the site.
Cambridge Clubs - CRA or Colleges - can opt to boat from town but please read CAR 2023 3.1 Notes to Cambridge Clubs.
Crews boat from Ditton Meadow, on a temporary landing stage at the downstream and NE end of the site.

Once on site, any problems or questions can be dealt with by contacting race control, and Umpire or marshal as your first point of call.
Prior to 10 PM Saturday evening, any problems or questions can be directed to regatta@cambridge99.org. Entry Secretaries have been notified what to do if problems arise between 10 PM and 6 AM.
